Wayne Carini & Advantage Lifts: Quality • Safety • Strength

"Advantage Lifts are manufactured in such a way that they look and act sturdy. When we're putting cars on a lift that are worth three, four, or even six million dollars, we certainly want it to be strong and reliable.
We engineered these ourselves, so it's our engineering and our design. We go to the factory every six months and do an extensive quality check, and we're in communication with our factory manager every day. We're different than some companies that simply buy a lift, stamp a label on it, and resell it. This factory only builds for us - it's our factory, our design, our product. We own it from the beginning.
We put a half-inch cable on our lifts, regardless of size. This cable is rated at 35,000 pounds, so it's absolutely overbuilt, which is our way of doing things.
What's also included is a secondary lock system. We have the primary lock that clicks in each slot as it goes up, but if something happens to the cable between those locks, another lock clicks in as a backup. Some lift companies eliminate that to save money, and to me, it's almost a liability issue. If you know about that and don't sell it on your lift, it's absolutely shameful to be in business.
The posts are rock-solid - they don't move around at all. We use Durlon, which is the strongest steel available, and it will last 35-40 years. One thing that's immediately noticeable is the gauge of the metal - it's amazingly heavy-duty. The beam that holds all the weight has a slight crown to it, so even with 10,000 pounds on there, there's no sag and no movement in the lift when it goes up and down."
